That was the easiest transaction I’ve ever had. She was very accommodating with furnishing a cart for us to use too. Go see Cat, you won’t be disappointed! I highly recommend Glacier West Storage in Gig Harbor espcially due to the on-site manager, Cat Davis. She not only is responsive, helpful and courteous, she will go above and beyond for her customers. We were moving in and out, and left the car lights on resulting in –yes, a dead battery. She closed the office for five minutes, drove up and gave our car a jump start so that we did not have to call AAA and were able to continue. I also was on the wait list for a larger unit and she actually referred to the list and called me when one became available. High marks for Ms. Davis and Glacier West.

I’ve been storing at Burnham storage for many years. The Burnham staff were always great. I’m happy to see Cat Davis remain. Always helpful and professional.

Rented a storage today with Cat Davis at Gig Harbor location. Cat was very professional, patient and helpful. She even helped me up the small hill that we had to walk up because of my hip.

Bait and switch pricing tactics – was offered a rate of $67 per parking space over the phone, decided to go 2 spaces to park both my travel trailers. I asked if this was a teaser rate that would go up in a month or two and was assured no, it would be the starting rate but subject to modest annual rent increases. I had no problem with this. I showed up to sign the docs and was told it would be $175 and $195 per month respectively for the spaces. When I asked about why the promised price was not being honored, the rep explained that there was a change in approach by management. She verbally offered $140 per space but I was done, walked away. Fortunately I didn’t cancel my existing spaces or this would have been a major hassle. Doesn’t seem like an ethical place, I would steer clear.

I lost approximately $200 in sales and ended up paying a helper for 4 hours work, but nothing could be done because of no gate access. Was told it was electrical. I understand things happen, but thought they could have offered some compensation. Shortly after was given 2 hours notice that would be closed for the day because of stripping, I’m sure they would have more notice than that.
