Glacier West Self Storage in Orting was great! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. We used their storage units for about 5 months. Never had any issues. They even reached out the first month when they noticed only one of our units was on autopay instead of both helping us avoid a late fee for my oversight. Highly recommend! They couldn’t do anything better!

I was happy to find a Uhaul rental so close to home. Tiffany helped me multiple times with 3 different rentals over the past week. She was fantastic! Friendly, cared about my preferences, and took care of things so that my rental experiences were smooth. She really adds to the small town charm that you get in Orting.

If there were more than 5 stars, they would be appropriate here. A U-Haul rental turned out to be a great experience. Tiffany is a rare personality these days. Knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond what is required. I felt like I was buying a Rolls Royce or something. She hooked it up and everything. Definitely the nicest experience I ever had with a rental company. You can’t go wrong. She should run the whole organization.

Glacier West Self Storage is also a U-Haul rental center. I had reserved a U-Haul motorcycle trailer on-line for a 2000 mile, one way, trip to Oklahoma. I stopped by the business and spoke with Cindy Shumate to confirm that what I reserved would be available on the date that I needed it. Cindy was professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the U-Haul trailer I had reserved. Cindy was also honest and informed me that I could not necessarily rely on the trailer I needed being delivered to her specific location (might be delivered to a less convenient U-Haul center). I explained to Cindy that I was on a pretty tight window for picking the trailer up and she offered to work with her field manager to ensure the trailer was delivered to her place of business on time. Cindy called me the next day and confirmed that I could expect the trailer would be at her business on the day I needed to pick it up and called me at least two more times to confirm that the trailer would be delivered to her place of business on time. Cindy’s level of customer service and extra effort was above and beyond and much appreciated. Thank you!

Awesome team at Orting Glacier west, they were very helpful and showed me around. The person that met with me was maintenance filling in for Sales and I am impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. I’m impressed by the staff here, not only did he get me a unit today. He also provided me with extra information, I told him that my business was outgrowing my house and needed storage for business purposes and I planned on moving to an office space very soon! He told me about glacier west plus in Spanaway and not only helped me with the short term cold storage but gave me options to pursue my business needs! Went above and beyond with the level of service! What a great team! Because of the level of service provided, I will definitely be checking out Glacier west plus and hopefully renting a unit there soon! It really made me count on them for my needs, and the services shown that they care about their customers and try to meet all your needs. I went from having expansions problems to expansion solutions for my business! Very positive and happy with my experience!

Storing at glacier west was a great experience! Henry the owner was very helpful through the process of me needing to change my address when I drove there. He is a very nice person and lovely to talk to! It was super easy to drive up to my storage unit, open my trunk, and drop things off, or throw in my car. Easy access, and I loved the fact that the whole place is armed before and after you leave your unit! Thank you glacier west, it was great storing with you!
