The service here was outstanding. Jasper was very prompt about getting our U-Haul trailer reservation and hooking it up for us. Mary, was such a pleasure and had no problem extending our rental 2 more days. On the day we returned the rental we were a couple hours late, Mary had no problem with that and told me not to worry about it. I will definitely rent from Mary and Jasper again. I am rewriting my review as I have had trouble writing it. For the past twelve years I have had association with Jasper Townsend and I want you to know what a valuable employee he is. He knows his customers well, is very detail oriented and keeps the grounds and lockers spotless at all times. He is friendly, quick to deal with questions and quick to find answers when needed. Bethany is a newer hire but quickly identifies her customers; she is quick to take care of business and if a question arises, she is quick to find an answer. These two people are a good team and great assets to your business.

Great, clean location. Friendly staff. Excellent rates. Able to work with us on quick notice and provide a safe location to store some items. Highly recommend!

After walking in to the office and talking with Jasper we decided to upgrade our unit to a larger one and stay. The service he provides made the process easy and pleasant. I’m very pleased with the service I received from this establishment! Probably one of the best storage companies I’ve dealt with, I waited to put a review in, but so far after a few months I’m very happy. On day One, after putting a reservation in for a unit I thinking of renting, I was surprised to get a call from Jasper, I didn’t feel any pushiness from him like a salesman would normally give off, but more was concerned with helping me make the best choice for myself. He asked if I had any questions or concerns, didn’t take any time of mine at all, he helped me make an appointment quickly for the next day so I could come check out the units. He was very insightful and knowledgeable of everything I’ve asked when I came in and looked around. The facility is very clean and well taken care of, everything’s seems new and I’m very pleased to not have any problems so far!

After only 6 to 7 months renting a 10 x 25 unit, Glacier West increased my rental rate nearly 11%. I emailed them 3 days ago and have not received a response. During 4 years of renting with a small storage facility, Chain Lake Storage, in Monroe, WA, my rental rate was only increased 2 x’s at a fair, reasonable amount. The staff there were very accessible and super great people to work with. Glacier West advertises a lower rate on line to lure customers in then seems to employ a bait and switch scam, it appears to me, to up rates months later. I think 1 year or more to increase rates 5% max is fair and reasonable to deal with inflation. Not 10.9% 6 months into leasing.

As the owner only reviewed the most recent situation, and completely ignored the fact that for 2 months straight I was being threatened my unit was going ro be auctioned even though I paid 2 months in advance, and received no phone calls back from management who was “on vacation”. Your response to my initial review just goes to show how little you actually reviewed the situations you have put me through as a customer due to YOUR COMPANY being unable to manage their own books. Sham company and I will be moving out of your units as soon as I can. Despicable.

I called Jasper over the phone and asked if they’re units were all drive up accessible, he said yes so I rented a unit, the next day I drive an hour and a half up with my ATV to find out the unit is indoor and my atv would not fit through the entrance. I requested to upgrade and was told the only unit available was 10×15 for $280 a month, so they offered a cheaper unit in Marysville. I was told they were going to stay open longer so I could move my ATV in and I drove over there immediately just to see everyone had left. So I ended up driving over 3 hours with a loaded trailer for no reason. Extremely unprofessional and will never be using there services again. EDIT – They’ve now taken 2 weeks to refund the money they agreed to refund and when I called to see whats going on they told me the manager would call me back. never happened, I had to call them multiple times to “remind” them to refund my order. Wow
