Had a great experience while renting space at Storage-Mart. The facility was accessible 24x7, well lit, clean and very well maintained. Management was helpful and courteous. I recommend Storage-Mart to any one needing space and will do business with them if needed in the future.

We just emtied our locker after two years. We could not have been more pleased with our experience with StorageMart. It was clean, secure and the staff were always pleasant and helpful.

I had rented a locker for about 4 months and each and every time I had a question or request, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Unfortuantely, I don't remember the male and female staff's name, but they seem to be the only ones there most of the time.
I decided to go with StorageMart for the price, location and 24 hour access. The friendly and helpful staff was a big bonus. The lockers and the entire place was clean, secure and well-lit.
I would definitely recommend and rent from this StorageMart.

My husband and I needed storage in a hurry! And without any fuss. And that's just what we got! We set up an appointment with Barbara. Dropped in for a twenty minute tour of the facilities. Barbara was so very patient with our many questions about cost and availability. She showed us 3 storage units - those that were close to the elevator and those that were less expensive a little further away. The lighting is great. The temperature is cool, which is great if your hauling boxes around. And the whole place is super clean. But the best part about our experience was Barara!

Clean, fair-priced, front desk very helpful. Not sure anyone should expect anything more from a storage facility, but I've been very impressed with the service provided to date. Couldn't ask for more, would recommend them to friends and family in a heartbeat.

The location is close to the Knight Street bridge and easy access off Kent. The place is very clean, professional active pest control, professional and courteous staff. If you are looking for a good - reasonably priced place to store furniture while renovating, this is the place for you.

From the start I was a little nervous about leaving my life in a storage facility,
However I needed to write this review so people new about this location.
They have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed ,
The staff is always friendly,
They consider my question and generally help with what they can
And for that I am grateful for the team on east Kent location
I will be storing my stuff now and in the future at this location for sure !!!!!!!!

Compared to two other companies that I have used for storage in the past, StorageMart was very classy. Initial online reservation was smooth and straightforward; registration at the office was pleasant, efficient and with clear instructions; the storage building and our specific unit were neat as a pin.

Really good experience with a storage unit that we got last-minute. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, even opening up two different sized units in case we couldn't fit in the smaller one. Very quick and efficient! And the price seems like one of the lowest out there. I'm very pleased so far!

Really great service and staff. I would recommend them over other facilities due to the cleanliness and accessibility of the units. I spent 5 years with StorageMart without any issue and they were very accommodating when I was upgrading or downgrading my unit and they always conducted themselves professionally.

We chose this company and location because it is clean and bright; not because it was the closest or the least expensive.
The staff have been very helpful and informative.
The only negative is that we had a short wait for a cart. Don't know how many moving carts are available but I guess at month end/month start they are all being used.

I have been with Storage Mart for the past 6 months or so. During that time, there have been no problems with access or issues with the space. The facilities have always been well maintained. I found the service and support very good. I would consider using them again in the future. Thank you Storage Mart!

Overall, I am pretty happy with StorageMart. I got exactly what I needed quickly. The manager was friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and the hours work out for the most part. Although I am looking forward to not having storage, I would use them again if I need too.

Just moving in, process was easy, Jenny was helpful and nice to deal with. Only wish the facility had fobs for entry and exiting the gates, punching in 10 digits is tedious, and iffy especially with the pandemic going on.

The location is neat and tidy, the staff are friendly, but unfortunately, I had a negative experience when dealing with StorageMart.
I moved from Vancouver to Victoria on January 31st, and needed a place to store a rooms worth of furniture for up to a year. I found StorageMart on Google, found the appropriately sized unit (5X5), and measured all my things to make sure they would fit. It was going to be tight, but I had just enough space. I showed up a few days early (Wednesday) to sign the paperwork, and everything went relatively smooth.
When I was shown my unit, I immediately expressed concern of a fire extinguisher that protruded inwards (24x10.5x4), as it would make it awkward to properly have items stored flush against the wall and fit snuggly. I was asked if I wanted to switch and was shown another unit (without protrusions), but I ultimately let the employee know it should be fine, that Id re-measure, and reach out if I had any concerns.
I re-measured my items, and it turned out I was indeed going to need everything inch I could get. I called back the next day (Thursday) and requested that my unit be switched to the second unit I was shown (a 5x5 unit without any inward protrusions).
I was told that since the rates fluctuated by the day, Id have to sign a new lease at a higher price, for the exact same sized unit, even though I had locked the price in over a month before with my credit card.
When I protested, I was told the situation had been sent to regional management and that I was to check in again on the day I moved in (Sunday). When that day came, I was then told that regional management hadnt gotten back to them yet, and was told that Id have to wait a few more days for a response, or sign a new lease, one that would cost over me over $180 if I kept the unit for a year. Waiting wasnt an option and I was in no mood to pay more money for the same sized locker, so I loaded up what I could into my unit.
I fit almost everything in, except my antique granite top night table. The unit was short of space by about two inches. Two inches that would have been available if there had not been a 2 long by 10 rectangle pushing 4 inches into my locker. I ended up having to drive to Chilliwack to store the night table at a family members house.
I want to reiterate that both employees I dealt with were nice, but ultimately unhelpful. It didnt seem like they meant to be, but more like there was nothing they could do without approval from upper management. What should have been a simple swapping of units that were the exact same size, turned into an 160 kilometre round trip for me, and a dissatisfied customer.
EDIT: The manager reached out to me through an intermediary, and we ended up working something out that was mutually beneficial. Good on Storagemart for the way they handled this.

I like the fact that it's clean, many size options, and not too busy. The only thing is the smell from nearby building, but I don't smell it inside. I do suggest if you use movers with big unit, choose the 1st floor, as I think it saves more than the cost difference.

We returned an unused, still flat box, with a receipt and they claimed it wasn't one of their boxes and gave us a hassle. They finally processed the Visa charge, but had to phone a supervisor to approve it. Very strange.

After about 10 months, they jerk up the rent. And the last time I was in there, she had the NERVE to ask me to up my rating from three stars to four. I was GOING to wait until I was finished with them to do it and describe my experience, including the fact that as a transit rider, that location sucks, second only to truly inaccessible places like that one on Mitchell Island. But, since I HAVE to be out by the time they jerk up my rent, I don't need to worry about giving them 4 stars anymore, now do I? You're supposed to REWARD your long term tenants, not penalize them!!!

They are different when you join them and do not give accurate info. Later turn their faces. Ad is misleading. Prorated is only when you join, when you leave, they charge for full month, even if you leave on the 1st date of the month. Whenever you go there, they are begging to ask for good reviews.

Supposedly open 7 days a week 24hrs a day. First they only let you in at 6am and no later then 11pm. Anything more then that you need special permission. Went there and they didn't give access on the holiday! Then not until 9:30am the next day. Bathroom is disgusting... Don't use it!!!

We were very pleased at the initial discounts they offered when we were looking for a rental space for a few months. We have used rental lockers in the past and have never had a bad experience and so we went ahead and rented. Fast forward to a few months later and we went to empty our locker and found 6 dead moths in one box as well as sheets and teddy bears that had been eaten. We are not inexperience with packing our items and had used a mix of totes (with lids of course) as well as boxes that had been taped closed. We were never informed at the front desk that we would need to seal our belongings "airtight" to ensure that "any number of bugs" that live on the premises would not damage our belongings. When I went to ask the front desk to let them know that they likely have moths infesting in their building and they should look into the issue, I was told that "all numbers of bugs and insects" come and go out of the building due to the sliding entry doors and that this was already noted on the lease contract and that they were not responsible for any damages. I don't care about the stuff that I had to throw out but at the same time the fact that they withheld this information from me when we first rented turns me off. At least give me the warning that there could be the possibility of moths/mosquitoes/other insects damage...I would have ensured that everything could have been airtight. I've never ever had THAT experience before and thanks to that, I would not recommend this place to anyone without making you aware of this. A storage facility shouldn't have moth issues and if they do, customers should be aware that and know what steps to take before renting or using it.

We were robbed twice at Storage Mart during a one month interval. The security system is completely inadequate. After the staff go home for the evening, Storage Mart remains open for several hours. Although that may seem like a convenient thing, after hours is the time that thieves have free range. These thieves (I assume) have their own rented units so can easily access the facility. It seems to be quite easy for them to climb on top of the units and cut through the wire that "protects" your precious belongings. The security cameras are inadequate--easy to avoid and not at all helpful to police.
We had two different units robbed. On one, they dropped down through the wire. On the other, they seem to have drilled out the lock and spent the evening rummaging through all of our carefully packed boxes. What a mess! We lost a number of irreplaceable items and family heirlooms. Imagine what your might lose, should you rent from Storage Mart!
After the second robbery we hired professional movers to get our stuff to a well-protected storage facility as soon as we could. Now we sleep at night. Please think twice about using Storage Mart.

If I could give a lesser rating would. I have been out of the country for a year. I travel extensively and have never had my storage until broken into until I went to StorageMart. A friend also rents space there and he was broken into as well. It is completely unsafe for your belongings. As well, I had been lied to, told I could not pay any other way than credit card from where I traveled to. While frantically trying to find a solution from where I am, I was charged late fees. As well, I recently discovered that you can pay for your unit rental online. However, they have locked me out therefore do not have the ability to make my payment. More charges ensue.
I have never encountered a more corruptly run corporation, especially in this day and age. If you are looking for a storage facility, FIND ANOTHER RENTAL COMPANY. There is a reason they are cheaper than most.

Horrible. People warned me while I was entering that units we broken into. They provide no insurance and their cameras are fakes. I wouldn't doubt that they helped the culprits or are them.

There have been several break-ins to this place. Our unit was broken into and personnel showed zero empathy. Security cameras are few and have poor coverage. Fine print in the contract actually says hey arent responsible for any losses even if it is their fault. You are not insured. The units can be easily broken into thru the roof. I had to ask for a refund for that month because they wouldnt even bother to offer it themselves. Good advise: stay away from this place if you have things of value.

Watch out for the "deals". You might get one or two months of cheap rent, then they hoist the rent. My rent has gone up 36% over the past two years. And in that period there was at least one break-in - I haven't checked again since covid for more recent ones - with no financial compensation. Go someplace else.

Do not trust this place. For the price I was willing to deal with the subpar facility. There were holes cut in the top of my unit that the woman "repaired" with some low gauge wire. Anyways all that didn't matter as the deal I was offered made any negative things easy to accept. I was told by the sales team which I've come to find out has no say in anything. I was told my price is locked in for minimum a year and after that they said that if price goes up it won't be by much. Well fast forward to today and my rate was doubled. So I stead of around $200 I am now paying $400. Just disgusting business practice especially during an epidemic and financial meltdown. The greed of this place is sad on many levels. When I brought this up I was told that they donate to various charities. Good for u for getting tax breaks. I do t recommend this place to anyone. It smells like fish and the place is dirty. All things I could care less about when paying the rate I was promised. So buyer beware. It doesn't matter what they tell u to get u to take a unit. Trust and believe it is all lies. You will see very soon the influx of negative reviews stating this exact thing. If I could give zero stars for deceiving customers just to get business then I would.

Extremely disappointed- As a high paying customer with storage in the facility and needing to spend time going through my belongings, I was unable to use the washroom... I was told this is a 'covid' policy. To say the least, after driving around for 35 minutes and trying to find a 'public' washroom, exposing myself to more people than actually needed to and placing the onus of another business to let me use their washroom (after paying for something I didn't even want). This 'policy' is completely unacceptable on many levels. First, it protects no one not to let customers who are already in your facility use the washroom as a paying customer. Your prices are already extremely high that having your staff clean the washroom like every other business should be part of your model. Secondly, forcing your customers to travel to other business locations essentially increasing exposure of covid and bringing it back to the facility. Thirdly, making your customers spend money and feel like second class citizens is a poor model. Shame on you.
